The Southern California Green Economic Council is a group of ambitious, sustainably-focused individuals, grass-roots and non-profit organizations, teachers, students, schools and representatives from local government and businesses, committed to mobilizing our citizenry towards:

  • Educating Citizens about Green Industries & Professions
  • Grass-roots creation of a green economy
  • Creating Good Green Jobs in Long Beach/Los Angeles Communities
  • Creating Job Creation Finance Systems
  • Supporting Renewable Energy/Energy Efficiency Mobilization

 

 

The Southern CA Green Economic Council conducts monthly events focused on educating residents, communities and organizations about green industries and organizations, projects and green jobs. Our belief is that by bringing green organizations/leaders to local communities members, we will create the legions of advocates and supporters required to transition our economy, our neighorhoods and our citizens to a sustainable, healthy and environmentally aware society
